Not sure about that to be honest. But I think that no matter how many points you give out in a single +rep action, it counts it as one for the userbar.

I wonder if it's limited to "one per day" in terms of counting towards the userbar. After the initial one, the rest don't seem to +1 the times given. You can obviously still give as much as you like, but it might only count the first time.

Re the mechanics, the numbers on the rep UB page might only update at the top of the hour, which is what Bat set up for other UBs like the welcome wagon iirc. This is speculation on my part though, I've not paid enough attention to confirm. Also, I think they update per rep instance, not per rep amount (if I rep someone +3 points it will only count as +1 towards the UB). Sorry if this has already been said, only skimmed the thread!

I love the UBs that depend on your own rep-giving because they make you pay attention to less used forum areas and the cool stuff that is produced/discussed there, rather than sticking to (only an example, idk if it applies to you) the UYS thread and personal sales threads or whatever.

also i hope with this interest in userbars some of the old ones come back! i know the staff are volunteer and have their own lives so no worries if we have to wait for more challenges though.

i soooo regret not doing the art challenge and emoji contest!!

Since it was established the +rep userbars are counting by a single action and not amount of points given, I changed the wording on them.

Did we ever get an answer from someone who has the top poster userbar?

The top poster userbar is exclusively awarded during special posting events. It isn't tied to the top posting statistics in any way. We could potentially run one of those events if there's enough interest, and enough talkative users.

Okay I think we solved the black I ♥ ck userbar, gonna add the assumed solution!
Anyone who's about to hit 2 months online, please try to follow that and see if you get the userbar!

I was wondering this. I doubt you could throw ck in a tab, and leave it open 24/7 and it would count. Probably has to do with actual activity to some extent.
