Hello everyone. I thought it'd be a good idea to make a board to help hunt down those pesky eggs hiding around the site!

Q: How many eggs total are there to collect?

A: There are 6 eggs total.

Q: How do I see how many eggs I've collected?

A: At this time unfortunately, we don't have a way to track how many eggs we've found. Though, you'll know when you've collected them all when you unlock the userbar.

Q: How long do we have to search for eggs?

A: You can hunt for eggs from April 1st through April 30th.

Q: What do the eggs look like? And where can I find them?

A: You can find eggs next to someone's username on a post. Here's an example of what they'll look like:



And here's what a easter egg looks like compared to a Ryu egg:

Q: How do I know I found an egg? Does it give me a message?

A: Yes, when you find an easter egg, you'll be presented with the following message:

Q: Do the eggs show up only on posts made after the egg hunt became active or can they be on old posts as well?

A: Courtesy of $(you need an account to see links): You can find eggs on all threads no longer that 3 years. Old posts count too.

Q: How often do the eggs change location?

A: Courtesy of $(you need an account to see links): That 1 egg can actually be found in hundreds of different places at once for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes is up, a different egg will appear in hundreds of different places. You have a lot of chances to encounter an egg if you browse diligently.


Q: When I find all 6 eggs, do I get a prize?

A: That you do! Once the following message appears:



You'll be awarded the userbar/permission group: Eggcellent.



Q: If I already have the userbar, will the eggs still appear for me in the future?

A: No, they won't appear for you any further.


Additional Tips

- Threads younger than 3 years are eligible for egg hunting.
- Every 5 minutes the egg changes its location.
- The locations of eggs will change at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 minutes past the hour.
- Look at all forum sections! They can be anywhere!
- Try opening many tabs at same time and refreshing every 5 minutes.
- While eggs are different for everyone, some eggs can be shared (the same) for some users. So if you find one, make sure to share link for others to try chance too.
- Trade/services threads and the UYS board DO NOT participate in the egg hunt.

I was trying to hunt them down for the userbar the other day. I think I had found one, but not sure what to do after I find them. I tried clicking on them, but it didn't really do anything at all. Unless what I actually saw was a ryu egg!

That was probably a ryu egg. When you click the actual easter eggs they say something cute like "yay! eggy!" and the egg disappears. When you collect the last one it says congrats on find the userbar

The eggs that you click on appear after the status dot. Please excuse my ugly paint skills, but see example below:

Yes, eggs have already been found as users are getting the UB awarded for finding them all.

same here, clicking around all over the place and can't find any for 15-20 minutes.

@(you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) try opening many tabs at same time and refreshing every 5 minutes. It's also a game of patience but good news it's you only need to find 6 eggs and have 20 days still
