As someone who is waaaaaaay off NST (I'm UTC+2), I distinctively remember the userbar was awarded by NST.
But it could've been changed for this year. If anyone has any evidence for it, I will change the main post.

I remember last year being by NST too!

We posted a lot on the unlocking thread and we stayed up until 2~4 am local time, around 12~1 NST

Yes for sure NST! I'm in EST zone and remember laying down on my couch and setting an alarm for 4am so I'd get up and log on haha. I still can't believe that was a year ago already.
