What brought you back to the forum (and Neopets) this year?

Thanks! It's hard to tell which of my scripts are already available/made by other people (because I don't have permanent access to the userscripts area), but I've made:
- Kitchen quest completer (for SSW)
- Battledome fighter
- SSW/SW sniping script (including items that aren't allowed on SSW)
- Shop/SDB/Neopets main shop price lookups (on SSW)
- Recording all SSW results to a database
- Charity corner buyer/donator

I returned to Neopets because I got my account back mid last year, and later I needed a distraction from some stressful family/real life matters.

cK I think is a more interesting community than TDN/JN.

Welcome back! Just for my own curiosity, what was Dupe Day 2014 and the fallout from it, if you don't mind me asking? I was on hiatus at the time and haven't heard of it before.

Neopets were migrating their servers. For a few days, the site was very laggy, and there were glitches enabling people to duplicate items. e.g. converting 1 Super Attack Pea into 100, and flooding the auctions/trading post with cloned items.

TNT did not remove all of the glitched items or roll back the site. Therefore, these items dropped in value (MSPP from about 300m to 30-40m) and still haven't recovered. For months, people were suspicious about buying any expensive item, because it might have been glitched.

In my case, I had 2 legit MSPPs (costing around 600m), but someone reported me (thinking that I duplicated it), and my account was frozen. I was eventually unfrozen but they removed one of the MSPPs (so I'd gone from 600m to 30m in value).
