Are Neopets password reset emails bouncing? Help with getting back in?

I've been trying to get back into one of my side accounts that I know the password, birth date, and email (which I still have access to) for. I know this account was leaked in one of the breaches in the past, so maybe that caused things to change? I know I could ask TNT to reset my account for me, which I did for another one of my sides, but I want one account to remain a bit incognito. Anything I can do besides ask them? Are password resets working for anyone else?

I said "I know" 3x in a row...

Can confirm password reset emails have been functioning within the past ~3 days (just did so myself). Good luck with getting your account back!

Hi Ice, thanks for the information. Was your email a gmail or a hotmail/live account? I'm in the latter and I read someone else had an issue with theirs, but I'm not sure, since a few weeks ago I was able to get back into my main this way!

It was Gmail, but I kept having to refresh my "All Mail" folder as opposed to the regular inbox. Not sure if that's just because it was a dummy email and I hadn't set up the inbox to filter things in properly. =s

Oh man okay, I guess I can't rule out Hotmail/Live failures. I'm really wishing I had made this account on my gmail now!

Np, also if you try to file a support ticket in the end, know that they're extremely slow in getting through them ?? I sent one in on the 6th and have yet to get a response. I heard bothering them on Twitter can help though lol? Good luck!

i feel like sometimes theres issues with e-mails if the message has bounced back to neopets before, the main example being if the e-mail address was deleted and then re-made. i had this issue on an account which i re-made the email, and had to wind up sending a ticket to get a PIN reset since the PIN e-mail wasn't sending. good luck!

Actually I was able to get a response really quickly! What I did was go on the Help board, find the Highway to Help post and comment with my ticket number there. Alice was able to get me back my account within a few hours. Mostly why I don't wanna go through the same process again since it very clearly linked my main with my side haha.

Thank you! I actually have owned this email for all these years without remaking, but good to know. Thankfully there's no PIN on this account- it honestly probably looks like a shell account, but it is my legit side haha. Also, I also loved Digimon growing up! Wow, people on this board have great taste.

Haha sorry I wasn't clear! I actually meant I was able to get my first side account back with this method (and I 10/10 recommend it), but for my second side I wanted to go a little more under the radar. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to just be blatant about it or make a totally new account.
