2020: Xbox vs PlayStation

I’ve always been pretty team Sony, now is no different. I’ve snagged a PS5 and have been loving it a LOT.
They have the dual sense controllers with the haptic feedback and its been a trip. Playing games like C.O.D where it feels different to pull the trigger on each gun really adds to the game play. Likewise on the game Godfall its harder to pull the triggers for a heavy attack vs a light attack. It just really cool, haha. I’ve also really enjoyed playing the new little big planet and the load times are ridiculously fast compared to the PS4. I haven’t played a ton of super heavy games to really have the most solid opinion but so far it runs faster, and loads faster. In a few days Cyberpunk comes out and I think that’s going to be the game that keeps me on the system for longer periods of time to get a better opinion of how it’ll run and handle a ‘next gen’ game. In terms of graphics, im not well versed on everything. I have a 4k TV and things look about the same between the PS4 to the PS5 where I can’t same much about frame rates and all that. It looks great to me on both? My husband says there’s a difference, but I personally just don’t see it. There is also a new user interface that’s been a lot nicer than anticipated. Its faster and more convenient to navigate. There are some nifty new features like hints on games, easier access to trophies, access to chats or gaming parties and things of that nature.

At the end of the day, the console great imo. I’m having fun and enjoy the upgraded controllers and user interface. Looking forward to new games coming out in the future!
