I always thought the name "Usul" was from the novel. The LD usul looks just like a Egyptian usul tbh

I'm glad I read this today. I started reading Dune last week and was wondering this. I'm pretty excited for this movie. The trailer seemed really generic, but I hope that's just so that it appeals to the most people as possible (since slow-burn sci-fis often and sadly... flop... see: Annihilation, Blade Runner 2049).

Oh that's funny. I absolutely loved BR49. One of the best movies I've seen!

Oops sorry for any confusion! I *loved* BR2049 also. Sci-fis are some of my favourites. I'm worried Dune will flop, but I really hope not lol sci-fi needs a win.
