Going to hold out for Plushies and mugs, but these look really good! The art for the blankets is really lovely. Hopefully they would eventually do some blankets after the worlds, would love a Shenkuu or Lost Desert themed one!

I do think she's compensated somehow.
I've scoured her social media and the art on Geekify isn't on it (unless I'm missing it).

In the post on FB, they do say "our artist" and the blankets are "fully licensed", so I assume she makes some sort of SOMETHING from it.

I scoured for her Space Faerie and Illusen art and it's no where to be seen. She's currently working on a Fountain Faerie design as well. (Which hasn't been released yet)
She's got a degree in animation and illustration I believe.

Geekify has a contract with Jumpstart but it owned by John Taylor. Whereas Jumpstart is trash, from what I can see Geekify is fairly decent.

What's really cool about the Geekify artist (imo) is that she's a neopian, too. I know a lot of the merch partners have been joining Neopets Nation to get involved with the community, but Aimee has an older account on neo and she posts in NN just to participate. I think it's just a little extra point of care and makes her work more appealing because she knows the world.
