tbh that's something i still sometimes struggle with but sometimes it comes without really thinking about it, so probably practice? I also use gouache and not the usual little powder block things, so that might make a difference. I haven't watercolored in weeks, maybe I'll bring them out tonight!

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting some gouache actually. Well I hope you do some cute art! I would love to see some of your work if you ever feel like sharing.

Welcome to Clraik Piper! Clraik hosts art competitions from time to time, so I hope to see your watercolor paintings one day ^^ Don't worry about them not being good, I can't really draw but I always participate and it's a lot of fun!

Just joined up, looking to get back into Neopets and hopefully rank up here a little.
I'm 28 years old and I enjoy fitness and collecting just about anything. I've recently got into watercolour painting, but I'm pretty awful at it and I'm finding it very difficult not to be discouraged!

Mainly acrylic. I had no prior experience, but found a channel called Wow Art on youtube, and basically just followed along How about you, how did you get into it?
