Non-american sellers: Is Paypal forcing your buyers to convert to your currency?

Lately this has been happening to me. Until like 2 weeks ago, people would send the money in USD and I'd get it in USD, no issues. But lately Paypal has been forcing them to convert to Euro (and charging a fee for it), even after I changed my primary currency to USD. Anyone else with the same issue?

Here in Brazil people can send in USD, but paypal only autoconvert the money to Real when we receive the payment and we always were charged for every little thing we sell (even if it's only one dolar). Maybe they changed their terms of service in your country?

yes, it's been doing that. However it's not forced, it's semi-forced through shitty UI design? You can manually change it back to USD on the send payment screen, it's just most people don't see this. I have removed my local currency and reject payments whenever this happens, and remind them to change the payment to USD on both sides.
