I accidentally collected hundreds of Cinnamoroll and various sanrio plushies because I got addicted to an online crane game called Toreba, and now I'm trying to sell them off.

Suicidal houseplants

Vintage toys like classic 80s MLP and care bears

clothes I never actually wear

Playbills and theatre programmes

& if I'm a fan of anything for more than a hot second I start collecting memorabilia

This thread called me boring, mundane, and uninteresting in 100 different languages. I can't think of one thing I collect avidly or enthusiastically. I have a large book collection, a scarf collection, various merch/memorabilia, a fairly decent shoe collection, designer handbags, enough makeup to last me a lifetime, numerous board games.. Guess I'm just not that interesting!

I collect bulbasaur stuff. I'll have to take a picture of my collection at another time. I also love collecting creatures made out of socks. Like weird sock monsters with button eyes and stuff, the more weird or creepy they look the better.

Do books count? I keep a lot of old books that are out-of-print or censored in a chest because I don't trust keeping all of that stuff stored virtually. If it's weird, niche or crackpot I want to see what's in it and stow it for posterity.

WOW that actualy sound so cool. My Great grand father (long since died) had a printing press in South Africa in the apartheid era. He would print books that are likely to be banned before they got banned and sent it to collectors before they got banned.

That's interesting and I would have liked to see what his press produced. Strange or unusual works intrigue me and it's a shame they are so often prevented from existing just because they go against the grain.
