    How to improve buying speed?

Hi guys.Is there any way i can improve my buying time? Even with 0ms delay my best speed only at 4500ms - 6000ms.I think this might have to do with the location i play neopets. My home internet speed is 100mbps.Would vpn improve my buying speed?

Malaysia huh, rarely seen someone comes from the same country as I playing neopets.
Well fastest for me was 3000 and I still miss a lot though.
But i think I saw someone got 50m+ stamp with 4000+ buying speed.
If i were to recommend, Amazon AWS has the most positive feedback for a good buying speed.
Or you can just change strategy going for a low profit with high quantity.

You could try painting flames on your internet modem. It may not make your buy times faster but it will sure make your modem look faster!

It seems that the only ways are to either get better internet or live nearer to the source.

Try timing your actual buy time by buying manually. Your autobuyer times will never be faster than your actual clicking time.

I can't comment on the safety of it, but remember to think about the fact you would be going straight from a Malaysian IP to a non Malaysian IP.

The only way that a VPN would improve your buying speed is if your internet requests were being routed to the neopets servers suboptimally, and using a direct connection to the VPN (which is closer to the neopets server) allowed your requests to be routed more quickly. This would be because the VPN may reduce the number of hops (the number of different routers your request visits) it takes for your request to reach the neopets server. This is possible but usually unlikely and typical gains would be minimal.

If the root cause is just the raw speed of your internet, and the time it takes to make any requests to foreign servers, then you might consider running your programs in a VPS (virtual private server). This would let you actually run the programs from a server that has a faster connection to the neopets servers, and your buy times would then only be dependent on the connection from the VPS to the neopets server, and your connection speed would not matter.

That's a great tip if you're aiming profitable items, because sometimes the main shop reestocks 2 or more items and they can be a profitable one and a non so profitable other. Maybe your AB choose the non profitable and then you lose the good item. Or maybe you even lost the two items depending how unlucky you're :p

So a short list means higher chances to get good items instead mediocre ones

But the AB prioritizes the items that are on the top of your list, no?
