Issues viewing images here on the forum.

Hi all,
wondering if any one using Firefox has the same issue?
I can't see images especially when they're directly linked from Neo or other hosts besides imgur. I have no idea why this is.

Sometimes I need to quote the post to see the image urls and then load them, previously that helped me see some images from said hosts, but now it's reverted back to me not seeing any images, it's super annoying!

Any advice at or guesses at all?

We're using an image proxy in the forum for security reasons, @(you need an account to see links). Perhaps your ISP, proxy or VPN is blocking access to that site? Could you please confirm that you're able to access (you need an account to see links), and that you're able to see the image examples shown on that site.

I noticed this too recently, to access the site i had to solve captchas, using my real ip, maybe that's why?

I can see that now, but perhaps it's because I visited the host directly? I noted I can see other direct neo links too now after visiting it again. should I do that every time I have this issue occur? XD

I changed our image proxy. Hopefully to one that doesn't give us any more trouble. This wouldn't require any action on your part.

She's in another game right now, but @(you need an account to see links) mentioned the same issue to me the other day. I was blaming her cheap internet, but now I'm starting to wonder.

The vast majority of image proxies are routing through Cloudflare, which serves up captchas for IPs that they feel are suspicious. We may need to iron this out on a case by case basis.
