I assume that they'll make it permanent and any pages they weren't able to change over will remain broken until they decide to, or they'll apply a simple patch over everything to make it "work" in the new layout.

Oh man, will it affect userlookups/petpages? I assumed it was only going to affect certain areas of the site, not things we add coding to ourselves like petlookups/petpages/etc.

I don't love the new design, but I'm feeling "meh" about the whole thing so long as it leaves the things I coded alone. If it changes that stuff I'll be upset, too...

Yeah my biggest fear in this is what it will do to pet look ups and user look ups. I generally don't go to other people's because I'm old and even though I know CGers aren't really a thing anymore, it's still deeply ingrained in me from back in the day lol but I love looking at my pets/lookups and my friends pets/lookups. So I really hope they're able to make the site changes translate there.

But maybe they will also figure in site themes (bc man I'll be pissed if those go the way of KQ and Habi) so that way the site itself isn't that hideous color it is now.

I feel your pain.

What I hate the most about it is that I spend some serious cash on NC to give my UCs their customs, just so TNT rips them away from me on that ugly quickref thing.

Not to mention TNT said "oh, this is not a final version, please do let us know your opinions and we'll work on that" and then post an ad containing the beta, so that means they will just keep this current thing and not take any opinions of their loyal userbase. I think this will be the final straw for a lot of players, TNT seems to think that investing on a "quick solution" to bring in more kids to the website is better than improving to actually maintain the adult userbase they already have, when we're the ones actually funding the website by buying NC/premium. If TNT thinks children will spend as much money as we do on that dying website, they're in for a big surprise.

It literally does not make sense for a mobile layout to be applied permanently to a WEBSITE layout.

So fucking websites out there have a mobile version and a browser version. I just don't get why TNT wants to force everyone to use the mobile layout.

NOT EVERY ONE PLAYS ON MOBILE TNT.

Customization/Userlookup/Petlookup are some of the biggest reasons for many players.
