What...? Why...? What's the point of having a high intelligence stat?
Well.. there isn't a POINT in having high intelligence stat, because compared to STR, DEF & HP, they do almost nothing.
BUT! Butbuuuuut, it does a little bit more than the Movement stat.
Firstly, having a high INT stat makes you look rich AF. When people see your pet - they'll assume you spent a shit ton of neopoints on books to get them to such high INT. But I'm going to teach you how to get high INT, the cheap way. Well some of these steps are cheap, and some require cheats.. but all in all, it's way cheaper than going for books.
Secondly, a high INT stat means you can wear certain armor from Brightvale. As you know, the theme of Brightvale has always been knowledge, and that brains are more important than brawns. Therefore, many of the equipment from Brightvale requires a certain INT stat in order to wield or unlock certain special benefits from it. So I'll be introducing them in this guide.
Similarly to the STR/DEF/SPD stat, INT stat maxes out at 750 on the Battledome scale.
HOWEVER, there are still equipment that require 1000 INT to unlock special abilities.
*Disclaimer*
If you're going for Booktastic Awards, do note that it is not based on your intelligence points, but rather on the number of books your pet has read.
So now that we've gone through some of the benefits of Intelligence points, let me talk about some ways to get Intelligence points.
1. Books
Everyone knows that the way to getting high Intelligence points is to read books to your pet.
This method gets more and more expensive as you read books to your pet because each book can only be read once.
That means that every time you want to gain more intelligence, you have to move on to the more expensive books.
You can gain up to 1000 INT points while still spending <2000 nps per book.
Do also note that each book gives 1-2 INT.
If you read books to your pet when you activate the Battleground of the Obelisk's Book Smarts boon (only when Seekers or Awakened (random) wins), you will receive 2 or 4 INT (basically double of 1-2 INT)
This is the reason why I save all my books till I have the boon instead of reading it to my pet straightaway.
*One thing to note is that if your account is 48 months and above, your books have a small chance of not poofing after being read - so you can either sell the book or re-read it to another pet.
2. Feeding Intelligence Items
There are 11 items that you can feed to your pets to increase intelligence.
1. Coltzan's Shrine
Raises any stat by 1 point or by 10 points if you're really lucky.
2. TDMBGPOP
Active pet gains an intelligence point.
3. Wheel of Knowledge
Land on the Lightbulb and your active pet's intelligence increases.
4. Wheel of Extravagence
Land on the Bicep and get +5 of a random stat (other than level). (double Bicep gives +10)
5. Daily Crossword
Active pet can randomly receive +1-3 intelligence points when finishing the puzzle.

4. The BEST Method
The best and my most favorite method is by playing Cliffhanger.
Why? Because Cliffhanger is FREE, and there are UNLIMITED plays. There is a roughly 5~10% chance of the game awarding you with +1 Intelligence point when you solve it. And of course, playing the game yourself is crazily boring and hard so the best way to do it.. is to of course, cheat I run it for a couple of hours per day (at sane and humanly possible intervals).
