What are your unpopular neopets opinions?

Neopets died the day Adam and Donna sold to Viacom.
Conversion & the new layout might have revitalized it but I hated them and the site's dying anyways.
Now it's just a place to make money and users who cling to nostalgia/sunk cost fallacy. (@me)

tbh I'm biased and kind of out of touch with the neopets community so I'd gladly be proven wrong, but I'm just waiting for Neo to go the way of Club Penguin

I will say that the content creators, artists, and programmers of TNT are probably trying their best, but either there isn't enough money or proper direction to make anything creative and original. And yes, support can go to hell.

Definitely agree with Blumaroos being overrated, I'm not sure why they became a go-to pet to customize.

My unpopular opinion: Having no Neofriends is where it's at. I don't want to log into Neopets to talk to a bunch of people, I want to sit all alone with my pretty pets and pretty NC things like a little digital cave goblin.

Oh man THANK YOU. I don't have any interest in neofriends. If I know you some other way and you wanna nf me sure, but do not expect us to chat cause I don't come to neopets for the conversations lmao.

That said I used to love roleplay guilds; getting around neos filters was a skill in itself.

Pretty sure is an unpopular opinion: The super thin linework of a some popular UC (Like UC baby kougra, faerie ixi, faerie kyrii, etc.) looks weird today & turn me down a lot. I prefer their converted version with soilder shading/linearts at anytime even when the UC version got much cuter poses.

Oh another niche unpopular opinion - I wish the majority of art still had black outlines, and I don�t like the weird newer textures they�re using now on colours like woodland, swamp gas, and magma. Give me back my uniform cartoons. The kind-of-more-detailed-but-not-much texturing looks like those early attempts at mixing 3D animation with 2D

Even though I've spent money on UCs, I would be so happy if they just mass released them for everyone to enjoy and I don't understand anyone who thinks otherwise (I mean, I get the "elitist" mentality but the game would be so much more chill if we got rid of this...like you could actually make friends without being suspicious they'd report you lol)

Same haha. Also adding perhaps an unpopular opinion, I wouldn't care if people leave over this. I think the site could certainly do without those people who don't want others to have nice things and would leave over such a petty reason of releasing UCs, which would no doubt make tons of users super happy!

My unpopular opinion:

I think almost all the UCs are butt ugly and don't deserve such high prices. (Only a select few i think are nice but then again I'd never pay/trade for them)
I also think the entire notion of neopet trading is kinda stupid - because you don't trade your real pets :\

I'm not sure if this is a popular opinion or an unpopular opinion - it could go either way.

"Pass" shuffles are dumb as hell.

Everybody passes. It's a waste of time.

Maybe this opinion is popular, but the GD PC keeps hosting "pass" shuffles, soooooooooo..... Why.

Is this just llke people desperately showing off their pets because no one will come to their board otherwise?
