How long have you been a fan of Animal Crossing?

New Horizons is my first foray into the series. It's a low-stress game that helps keep me busy during this period (three months of lockdown/working from home and still counting ...). Despite the complaints about the repetitive dialogue, I just love interacting with my villagers every day.

I've been an Animal Crossing fan since the GameCube version came out. Still have my copy and original save file on a memory card!

I've been playing since GC days.... I had no memory card so I would always have to restart RIP but it was still so worth it. Just got a switch a couple days ago and I am absolutely loving NH! I can say both Neo and Animal Crossing have greatly influenced how I draw.

New Horizons was my first AC game, and it is totally up my alley. I've seen plenty of art and videos about the series before New Horizons, so I had an idea of what to expect. I'm hitting a bit of a burn out since I literally spent 24 hours a day on it the first 2 months it released, so I'm only spending a few hours a week on it now hah

I first started playing AC New Leaf.

i remember seeing an ad in a magazine for the original animal crossing. i asked mom if we could get it a dozen times before it came out, lol. and it was love on first play.

I was in japan when new leaf came out. Was not aware my DS was region locked and the game I bought did’t work. Had to take it back and get a US version. I was super annoyed and I should have just traded my DS for a Japanese one because all of the 7-11 DLCs weren’t available even though I lived 2 minutes from one. It was like seeing a giant pile of candy and being told not to touch.

Ended up logging stupid amounts of hours and playing hard until I got a job and had to work.

Now I have a newborn and have zero time to play NH. Which is hella heartbreaking, but my baby is cute so it kind of works out.

Ahh since GameCube. I have them all except for Wild World. My only digital game copy in my library is New Leaf. Pretty honourable position to have if I say so myself
I still go back on GCN just to see my cockroaches and crazy hair. Poor villagers

i've been playing since the original gamecube game. around 2005 or so is when i first got the game! i have such good memories playing on the OG gamecube too ;w;

Since the gamecube version...oh man so many memories xD Our town was called Hyrule and my villager had a feud with hopper...lol That darned penguin.
