Questions about securing my own account.

I got email from clraik for happy bday sometime ago and realized I could make some good money with my old neopets accounts lol.

I read in [READ BEFORE TRADING] Trading Rules thread that you are not allowed to sell active account. Eg, if I log in now to catalogue what I have in my account it will be considered active right?
Accounts in questions are 15+ years old for main, 10+ for sides.. Its my personal main and sides for years if that matters.

Theres ucs, 4L and high value stuffs, i built it up pretty well. I will get it price checked after cataloging as mentioned in Trading Rules. I assume I should change the email to a new email too? Will that trigger a neo alarm or something.

Is there a guide for this.. something like How to secure your own account for sale after years of not playing?
A bit overwhelmed and have way too many questions.

If you can prove that it is your own account, that's fine. You'd want to disclose how recently it was used, of course, but the active rule is about prohibiting the stealing and sale of other people's accounts, thus attacking the remaining Neopets userbase.
