Interesting curiosity but I also think that since it is a real job for them I do not think they dedicate themselves to their account as us simple players.

I don't know about "official staff" accounts, but I do know the support team is on Neo. They have their own personal user accounts and play on the site like the rest of us.
THEY WALK AMONG US! Dun-dun-dun.

I think I remember Snarkie implying on twitter/tumblr that a lot of staff had public-facing staff accounts and then more anonymous personal accounts where they could just play, but I can't find it right now.

I've run RO and WoW private servers in the past. Honestly it was so much work to stay on top of new features in the server emulators and to stay on top of the exploits and bugs and also dealing with the complaining user base. I also didn't do it alone, we were a team of people who were behind the scenes on both of these projects but it was still so much work. And when we did that, we hated playing on the servers we were running ourselves. There's nothing that felt more like a chore than doing that, and the temptation of power was way too strong.
Even though we ran our own server we ended up playing either officially or on competing private servers instead.... I know it's not the same thing on neo and it's pretty much an irreplaceable experience, but I highly doubt any of the TNT core staff actually play neo religiously like the fan base. Maybe they play a bit to test things out but there's no sense of achievement when you play the thing you have full control over the databases and back end...
