TF, i just decided to choose Legends and Letters for my User Interface Design (im just making an event "skin" for the game) class at school...
Im still doing it cause i just... picked it lolololol and im doomed, im doing a Halloween event design and trying to add more... design? to their interface but DAMN SON, IT JUST CAME OUT

Between ghoulcatchers and Trudy's I was making a killing on neopets. I really hope it pays out neopoints still. I got a friend to play with me again because of how easy it is to earn neopoints now. I never played L&L though.

Very upset about this. I actually enjoy their games, even though they have had very few updates/expansions.
Only reason I can see why they decided on this is that it costs money to have their games on the app store... and if I had to take an educated guess, they were making little to no profit after all the money that was put into development. Very sad. I'm sure they could have executed their mobile game marketing a lot better, but I'm no expert.
Really sad about this. Have so many items still to get from the chests.
Never got around to playing L&L, guess now I never will.
And honestly, as cute as their new app looks, this whole thing has me hesitant to get invested if they're just going to pull the plug on it in a year or so, too. Why bother?
