I honestly can't get excited by yet another mobile app while better site features are left dead. I really hope they don't split resources on this

Also unpopular opinion, but I think it looks dated and lowkey ugly. But then again I usually hate 3d adaptations of 2d games.

I was thinking the exact same thing - to me it seems like they will be leaning towards people making in app purchase to make money rather than actually fixing the problems with the site which is expected with some of these massive mobile games I just hope they don't start forgetting the website if this app becomes popular

On the other hand i will definitely be downloading this and i will most likely be one of the suckers who end up spending on in app purchases lol

i can't wait! looks like tnt is actually putting an effort into bringing neopets back from the dead and i also like that it gets good reviews in general here.

I agree, it looks a bit messy and n64 like.

Does anyone know what the mechanics are?

I'm imagining it'll be more like lineplay and less like animal crossing.

I just wish they made mobile keyquest.

Just got the email invite to closed beta about an hour ago. My phone is half dead right now but I'll download it in a bit.

edit: It's... cute. The graphics are a little simple/unfinished appearing but it's just an average town building game with some Neopets thrown in. And not necessarily in a good way - FarmVille 2 is more complex. Also it killed my battery by 26% in 15 minutes.

JS is very responsive in the discord so that's nice, I guess.

edit: played a little again this morning. There is just a lot going on. I want to help Lania rebuild the island but that nosy Chia needs my help but also the Shoyru is harassing me for bamboo paper. Ok, it's quite charming and every time the Grarrl runs across the screen, I just have to watch.

Is it only available in the google play store? Small bit sad I didn't get chosen to test the beta, but I also have an iphone and haven't seen anyone with an iphone post about it?
