Do you all have IRL friends or even Neofriends?

I'm wondering how many of you have friends that play in real life, or just neofriends or neither?

I've recently had a lot of fun coming back to it. However playing by yourself with noone that you regularly talk to or even compete for goals with, it gets a little boring?

How do you keep yourself interested?

I don't want to sound like a loser but honestly, I don't have any real friends right now. I lost a lot of my shallow friends when I didn't want to go drinking anymore because they didn't take it seriously. And I got in a fight with my best (and only) friend years ago over something stupid. I used to meet some of my old colleagues from time to time but that's just superficial contact and I haven't seen anyone since I got laid off at the bar and because of corona... I have neofriends but I haven't heard from them in months and most are inactive. I love this community though And here I can say shit tits and fuck without getting silenced

Sure I have plenty of friends and neofriends they hold all of my pets for me and they're 100% real


but for real i do have several neofriends, most found through art mostly, easy to find them offsite etc.
neo does seem lonely if you play it by yourself 100% of the time

I feel you! This community is 90 percent of the reason I still log in, I hadn't played in 8 years up until I found CK. It is hard to keep playing though when you dont have anyone to really talk to outside of your guild. It's fun to talk on here but at the same time it's not really the same.

I often wonder if any of the people I've talked to over the years play on different accounts or are on CK.

When I first started playing I used to have lots of neofriends but in recent years they have all basically quit neopets or rarely come on. I know two of them on social media but we have never met in person. Besides that, I think only one of my neofriends from back in the day get on frequently. Honestly, I don't have the time or the need to make friends on neopets now because I prefer spending my time with friends in real life. These days neopets interaction for me usually never moves past friendly pleasantries.

One of my IRL friends was the reason I got back into neopets about 6 years ago. He'd come over and we'd play habitarium and keyquest on every device that would run it.
Due to a shitty relationship I don't really have any irl friends left including the ones I would play neo with
I have made many friends on Neo, met many excellent people that brings lots of joy <3 the community is what keeps bringing me back

I've also always been too shy to interact to others, so... Yeah, I think this is gonna be it for a while ahaha

In the same boat here. I've never been great at making friends on Neo- it feels like most people already have their friend groups anyway :/

I for the most part can make them, rather quick and I have some fun interactions, but I stay away from the trade chat and kind of stick to guilds to interact where as the trade chat is the group I relate to most. I dont want to get reported lol (only time I got iced was when I was active on TC).

I was a part of a different cheating site from 2012-14 made a lot of friends there but never talked to them on NEO so idk if any still play since that site is dead.

I always wondered how cool it would be if we could have a guild, but it would be too easy to get outed and everyone iced
