Years and years ago I found the pet Moopy in there. Loved that guy, but lost him in a pound transfer back when that was the only way to move a pet. The name was purged and recreated a long time ago. But I'll never forget you Moopy, you wacky bastard.
This topic has made me remember a shell. I just discovered that I have a nice 4L and a VWN there so I'm pleasantly surprised haha I found them both in the pound. I also found there a couple of cute colors and a lab BD... that's still the pet I use to fight.
Found my permies, I don't remember their species/colors originally cuz I got them only because of the pretty names. There's a 4L and a pronounceable 5L in the middle.

Mine has got to be a VWN red Moehog (who is now a Tyrannian Lupe, and honestly the name matches much better now) I got simply through pound refreshing while bored one day. Said Moehog was almost 14 years old at the time I adopted him, and came with a black Gruslen attached. The Gruslen is just as old too, and popped the av for me when I viewed the lookup after adopting. Definitely a pet I'll never part with. Couldn't bring myself to detach the Gruslen, either (clearly, they'd been friends for so long!), though I might paint it mutant at some point so it matches the pet a little better.

When I was 13 I was (sneakily) on Neopets past midnight. I came across a UC Baby while surfing. I adopted them immediately and couldn�t believe how quick I was to react. I went to sleep immediately after; smiling to myself and trying to keep my giggles quieted.

Found a transparent Aisha with a RW name once but I was too slow to claim it. Did manage to grab a sponge Aisha with a pretty name but I don't own her anymore. Also found a couple RW names on the longer and more uncommon side. One of my permie pets came from the pound. He has a longer compound name but I love him to bits!
Lately just some pretty names to keep, but my all-time favourite was in like 2001 when I found a purple poogle. I loved poogles but had no ability to make np & no idea how LEs worked, and she was purple??? Favourite pet for a long time.
A legitimate tier 9 UC Plushie unknown from pound release back in like... 2008 or 2009. It's still around!
