Otherppl by Brad Listi is a really good one if you're into contemporary literature. He has a very relaxed and casual interviewing style and I love his random tangents about his family.

NoSleep!!!!!!! If you like horror stories. A friend of mine is absolutely hooked on it and tells me all the time I should listen to it and I still haven't listened to a whole episode :$ But it sounds really cool

The Adventure Zone is great if you haven't checked it out yet.
More educational: Radiolab, Serial (I STRONGLY recommend the 3rd season. It was some of the best podcast journalism I've ever listened to)

i SUPER recommend The Adventure Zone. it's a dungeons & dragons actual play podcast, but I'd say give it a shot even if you aren't into d&d. when i first started listening i had 0 interest in d&d and thought it sounded super lame, but my then-girlfriend was into the podcast so i listened to it for her and after a few episodes was HOOKED

I like listening to "How Stuff Works" related podcasts. The ones I listen to are: "Stuff You Should Know", "Stuff They Don't Want You To Know" is good too. I also like "TechStuff"

Ted Talks cover a range of topics that you could choose from and are pretty insightful. I focus on mainly the finance ones.

SUPER into MbMbaM and The Adventure Zone like a few other people here. TAZ is really good if you're into funny tabletop podcasts and MbMbaM is good for just general comedy.

I love 'Oh No Ross and Carrie', they join fringe groups (think flat earthers or scientology or some christianity offshoots i never heard of before) and investigate claims of the paranormal and alternative medicine.
They're very nice and funny, they do a ton of research (and always invite practioners of what they are reporting on to come on the show, some of them do!), and as someone who likes weird stuff it's always cool to see what's out there.

I like Alice isn't dead, it's by the same team as Welcome to Night Vale. TMA is the best!!!
