Could you please explain the difference between the AC Shop and the AC Staff Shop for many of us first timers for AC?

I understand the place to buy lunch boxes are from the AC Staff Shop (for using in CC and costs 1 point)

But the bigger items like stamps and books are from AC Shop? What about the points being used in AC Shop and AC Staff Shop, are they same or different?

Maybe this could be an FAQ section about AC as well. I know it'd help a lot of people. I've done some extensive searching but it didn't answer many of my questions.

AC points are acquired by playing AC games. Staff points are acquired by playing in the staff tournament. The points are their own separate things, with each corresponding to different prizes. You get more serious prizes (like stamps, books, paintbrushes, etc.)from the AC prize shop versus the Staff prize shop, which is more funny prizes than anything worth mentioning. The staff tournament is more or less a luck based thing than the AC, which is purely grinding.

Yep, that’s exactly it! It’s kinda funny about the MVP thing, though. You get a prize for guessing the MVP correctly, however, when the shop opens up, you can also purchase the item that was given out for points lol. There is no exclusive items for correctly guessing the MVP, just bragging rights I suppose.

The more time you spend grinding the AC games, the more you are able to purchase with the points you ground out. If you no life it and max every game, every single day, you should be able to buy ONE of every single item in the store. Otherwise, just spend your points wisely. What are some things that are MUST-BUYS from the AC Shop? I'm assuming the stamp, both books x2 one to use and one to keep. What else is good to buy and keep? Do people also usually wait till before the beginning of next year's AC to spend their points?
