Having UC your active pet?

Is it risky to have an UC as your active pet? are there random events that will convert it? or are the immune to them?

they are immune to boochi, not sure about the turning blue random event

I actually looked this up the other day! UC's have always been immune to RE, but all colour changing random events were also discontinued a while ago, so it should be pretty safe these days.

Yes, this 100%.

The "Sad" random event is gone. The "Angry" random event is gone. The Boochi random event is gone.

Neopets will no longer bone your active pet's color or species.

HOWEVER.

They will still steal your items so don't have a 20 million NP stamp and, say, go bobbing for apples.

You know, or so I heard once.

Wow I did not know that. What does PC actually stand for? I have actually heard that UC trading was quite dangerous and if you actually have a UC that you traded for, you should never set it as your active pet or share its name around.

I'm mostly just lurking and getting information, not really participating. I don't trade NC or UC either so I doubt I'll get into much trouble... right?

Read through this thread and I can see some really nasty people. Do they come onto this forum?
