What pets do you wish had gotten the option to stay UC?

I may have been on hiatus then, but can anyone fill me in on why tnt decided to change the art? Honestly, I haven't seen any that has changed for the better.

They should just give us the option to change to the new art or stay with the old. At least for pets who were created before the change.

It was pretty much random. The staffers got to pick and I think they picked their favorites and then I imagine they just threw darts at a dart board to choose the rest.

Aside from the dart board theory, I believe it was Snarkie who confirmed it was pretty random with very little rhyme or reason.

Edit: My bad, I read that as how they picked what to convert and what not. ^^;

- The Faerie Buzz. :'( A lot of Faeries lost their unique poses, but I really loved the just relaxed, drifting pose it had, it was really cute?

- Most if not all of the Mutants. You didn't have to standardize them in the first place, they're like Baby and Maraquan pets with their weird anatomy! Stop!

- A lot of Royals, mostly the Royal Girl Eyrie though. So cute, very similar designs to the Royal G/B Lupes but still charming..

In essence, pets were "converted" into the new art for customization possibilities.

NC has opened new doors to buying clothes, wigs, wearables that would not have been possible on UCs and the previous art because it was just so much more complicated to design wearables different for each specific pet.

Thus pets were converted to be able to use, wear, and have these things. To be very honest, UCs have retained a very strong community but converted pets and NC customization has opened a much larger community (as well as cash cow) for Neopets.

It was a good move on their part - BUT they should have fully converted all pets and not left some unconverted (which I feel was a mistake rather than a calculated choice)
