I actually did came back to neo due to lockdown.
But I won't buy anything that isn't necessary right now, especially since I just started playing again after 3 or 4 years - why spend my money over an UC or anything if I don't know if I'm even playing anymore after quarantine. Even though I already got Kiko Pop and Skeith:Hagan I currently can't say that neo can hold me for long.

I've haven't been buying and playing less because other games I play are putting out events to keep people occupied during quarantine. Shame neo doesn't really have the resources to do anything.

I've been on even more than usual tbh. I was just getting over a depressive episode when shit got scary, and the lack of routine is making maintaining ok mental health really hard.

Having a little world to escape to that's always the same has been an immense comfort. I'm building all my sides classic neohomes, and upgrades are way cheaper than I remember thinking they were as a kid - it's a waste of time but feels mildly productive, which helps.

I'm worried about my bought sides, but also, it's nice to see so many old timers come back - hopefully others can also find some solace in this batshit lil corner of the internet.

i come and go every few months, though it has been more enjoyable to play right now. mostly due to my husband being home and able to watch our kid more, so mommy gets more neopets time :p this past month or so i have been about as invested as i have ever been since i was a kid. it's really nice to see other people feeling the same way. maybe a bit of extra site activity will motivate tnt to get some well-needed shit together.

It’s good hearing everybody’s different perspectives. I didn’t even think about the influx of people and possibly losing ucs One purchased. That is a little scary. I’ve been stress buying here and there but nothing too crazy. I need to watch my cash flow because I’ll be out of a job soon and I find know how much longer Corona will last. I didn’t even think it would get this far or shut the whole world down like this!

I’m happy to read it’s helping with mental illnesses and bringing more people back to reminisce on old times. I don’t think I will ever leave the site. It’s too enjoyable. One day I might sell everything but I think I’ll still come back just got the memories.
