[Coronavirus] What good have you seen come out of this situation? What do you hope we learn?

Rather than focus on the negative this brings out of the world, I'd love to hear what good you've seen come out of the situation with the virus. What has restored your faith in humanity somewhat? What do you hope we learn or take away from this situation?

My story is from a week or so ago. The place where I live encourages people to wear masks, but they are rationed through a system. As such I don't have enough to wear them every day. In the subway station an old lady stopped me and pointed at her own mask, I wasn't sure what she was doing, scolding me for not wearing one? No, she gave me a fresh, new mask. I told her no thanks, I know how hard to get they are. Then she proceeded to give me two... I was really moved by this.

That is so sweet, I guess if the rumors are true about how the planet looks right now because of all the lockdowns that I'd say that's a pretty postitive thing. Clearer water and less emissions.

thank you Hollow for the amazing Gengar art piece

Many animals that are coming out as humans have stayed indoors:

Also, all of the adoptions and fostering occurring warms my heart:

I love seeing retail workers getting respect around me for once (including myself)!

Grocery clerks are getting thanked, hardware store workers are getting praised so people's living quarters can be held together, etc etc

Warms me to see that people are finally respecting all workers

People finally moving out of Los Angeles....due to not being able to pay rent. (I know it's a bit selfish, yes). Also, less traffic.

Carbon emissions lower in all parts of the world even here in CA and NY.

Many are home with the families taking the time for healing and bonding.

We're learning to work from home rather than having to be at the job all the time. (Maybe some jobs will change to remote due to this)

I am excited and super hopeful that this encourages more employers to open permanent remote positions.

I think we've seen a lot of positive impact on pollution, respect for minimum wage jobs (they're putting themselves at risk for barely any income), and people are being given some free time to catch up on things they've been neglecting.
What I hope to see come out of this, is the united states becoming more accepting of socialized health care, a step back from excessive consumerism, and for hospitals to be more prepared for future events. Also I hope this whole thing ruins Trumps campaign for relection. He showed that he clearly cannot handle big problems such as this.

    That is so cute!

Isolation gave me time to take care of myself, to have real quality time with myself and my family. Also more time to play games, to relax in general and draw a lot too ^^
