Not too sure but I heard they'll convert to HTML5 but seems to be a delay...

I've been seeing this for forever but didn't really think about it until now, playing on Neo again, which heavily uses Flash.
Google Chrome is (you need an account to see links)
I haven't done any kind of research but I don't see Neopets transitioning to 0 Flash use. I figure this just means those of us that use Chrome will have to start using Firefox (or other browser alternatives) to play?
Thoughts?

From (you need an account to see links):This editorial answer is ancient history, of course, but I believe I remember hearing elsewhere that they have a priority list of what they're converting and it's very likely that less popular Flash games will go by the wayside.Hi CQ, a little while ago you said something about making HTML 5 more prominent on here and I was just wondering; do you guys plan on changing the Premium Space Faerie Scratch Cards to HTML 5 as well? It's kinda frustrating not being able to scratch them when I'm on my mobile. ~ dukula
Hi! So the plan is to eventually make everything not available on mobile now HTML5. Emphasis on the word eventually though - there is a loooot on this site and it is a very lengthy process. Our focus will definitely be on the biggest and most used pieces of the site first though, so hang tight for a while.
It makes me anxious thinking that half the site will be and stay unusable once flash goes. Seeing that there are still games that use shockwave I don't have a very optimistic outlook on it
The radio silence from TNT doesn't help either.
When it was first announced I thought meh doesn't matter that's forever away.. Now it's getting closer I'm worried half the site will be down since they never fixed any shockwave stuff even though there isn't much of it and they're busy working on mobile Neo too. Curious to see how it all pans out though I'm totally clueless on how flash, converting and any of that would work. Maybe that's why TNT are so quiet.. They're too busy figuring it all out and sorting it, we can only hope I suppose.
If I got it right (please correct me if I'm wrong) all the Flash things on neo will still be there, but we won't be able to see or use them with Google Chrome. So we'll have to switch to Firefox and/or use some kind of weird programmer magic to be able to see or use Flash.
Right?
Sorry, I haven't paid much attention to this topic until now.

I'd imagine their main priorities are customization and the world maps. At least, that's what I'd prioritize: my moneymaker and my site nav.

@(you need an account to see links) doing some research it looks like Adobe Flash is being removed from all browsers in general. So my initial thought too of having to use a different browser doesn't actually work.
Flash isn't actually going to be gone (unless tnt takes down all flash content on the site) it just won't be available with updated browsers. Basically future browser updates won't support of flash because adobe won't be putting out updates/patches anymore which makes it a(n even bigger) security risk, but if you use an old version of the browser it will still be there like all the old shockwave stuff. It is a proceed at your own risk situation but if you need to get at a game for an avatar and it's not converted yet it'll probably still be there.
