Latest update!

My country has been hit too. Like a few weeks ago it only had a few cases. Now this past few days. The numbers are rising.

I bookmarked the CDC page and put a quick link to it on the desktop of my tablet. Only fourteen states (and all US territories) are clear. Freaky!
That's not to say that we haven't had concerns here...I think we've tested at least six and all came up negative.
I knew SXSW was canceled and I just heard about Coachella being postponed today. SDCC is still a toss-up. Major uni I mentioned the other day has already started transitioning to online classes and some students are concerned about graduation. One of them said, "Record it and send it to the family that can't come"--excellent idea.
My masters is already completely online and I won't graduate before May 2021, so I'm hanging tight. (Hopefully things will look better by then; though if I have to wait until 2022 to be hooded, oh well!)
Colleges/Universities surrounding where I live are closing down after Spring Break and switching over to remote classes only. I am so glad I'm not in college anymore lol that would stress me out insanely.
also I'm totally still going on vacation in Spring Break because I'm not actually freaking out about this virus like everyone else seems to be
^^ Thanks to Menine for the icon & Gremlin for this userbar!
Every major college in my area seems to be moving to distance learning after their spring break. No word here on mine after the test of this online experiment ends tomorrow (I'm not a student, I'm staff, so I'm still reporting in). We've had 2 students in three days, one is actually in their virtual class right now... but public transportation is still packed!
On a personal note, I just submitted my grad school applications on Sunday so I am sure this will effect the in-person interviews, if I make it that far. Oy vey.

Looks like I get to stay home for the next month or so cause of coronavirus. Guess that's just more neopets for me.
My college has already moved to online classes/remote learning. I think only lab classes are still required to meet in person, but they're trying to transition them to remote as well, which I'm curious to see how they'll do that.

Oop, spoke too soon - the college is testing WFH for admin staff tomorrow. This should be interesting, to say the least.
And same with labs and clinicals here. I feel for our students, not everyone has access or good access to privacy at home for remote learning.

UK isn't really doing much about this from what I heard
But then again I don't see how school closures are going to help. Coz then I'll just take my kids out shopping and to the playgyms instead. Can't be stuck in the house with these kids for 2 weeks driving me insane
