NC Item Mysteriously Gone?

OK, a little strange but I was updating my customizations for fall and couldn't find a certain item that I had bought off someone maybe a couple of weeks ago. I never sent it anywhere and even double checked my messages to see it was sent to the right account (I do remember receiving it). Checked my other accounts as well, it was nowhere to be found. None of my pets are wearing it.

I'm thinking, maybe it was deleted? but if TNT was sus they would have sent me a warning right?

Otherwise, it was taken? but it was like a 2 cap item anyway. Also I'm on neo a lot so I think I would have noticed the notification for a sent item being received.

I'm not super mad since it was cheap, just confused. Any thoughts?

Sometimes NC items won't appear in your SDB or closet, even if you search them. I've had to go through page-by-page before and find it. Maybe that might be the issue?

Had this happen once, item just disappeared, TNT showed me the logs for the item of it entering my account but never leaving in any way, it was damn weird
(no they didnt give me another)
it was a 15 caps item so bummer

I looked though my closet page by page but not the sbd, that might be too much searching for me lol. Thanks for the tip!

yikes that's terrible but it makes me feel less crazy. tbh with how glitchy the site has been lately I wouldn't be surprised if my item had vanished like this

I don't know of any reported incidents of this, but could TNT have possibly returned the item...? Was the account you got it from frozen?

Happened to me recently while moving it from my SDB to invent to trade an item - it was one I got from an RR cap I believe. It just poofed and naturally TNT hasn't gotten back to me about it (I doubt they'd restore it anyway).
