Help getting into gmail account??

So my friend is having someone that keeps getting into his Epic Games account. Google and epic both have not been helpful with this issue. Problem started because when he created his Epic account, which was connected to his PlayStation, he had his PlayStation connected to an old email he couldn�t get into. When he changed his PlayStation email the epic one stayed as the email he cannot get into. Is there anyway someone can help us get into the old gmail account?

Have you tried contacting actual Gmail support?

Oops. But Google won’t do anything because he doesn’t have access to the phone number anymore and even though he answered all of the security questions correctly it’s still apparently not enough to prove it’s his account

I know you've mentione Epic being unhelpful, but I think your friend's best bet is to pester them continuously in order to change the email to a new one as opposed to gaining access to the old one. Google is a pain in the ass when it comes to account recovery - but with Epic it is a little easier to prove your identity, especially if your friend has transaction history (probably does). Pull up his card, bank statements and get some dates of purchase history down for the next ticket - a friend of mine managed to recover an account and have Epic change the email on their end. Ask them to disable 2F authentication as well, in case it was enabled while in the wrong hands. Good luck!

Do you know anyone - a friend of a friend maybe - who works for Google? They have an internal "help my friend" feature for returning old Gmail accounts without a fuss. I've gotten into so many old accounts by pestering a friend who works there.

WOW this is a HUGE security threat to Google.
You should definitely keep this to yourself and never say anything about it again.
I'd be pissed if I used Gmail.

I am pissed, what kind fo shit is THAT?! I can't reset my phone because I can't use an email...but you can just get your friend GIVE you an email...? Either huge shenanigans..or HUGE security threat...

I should also note that they were literally my own accounts, guys. In hindsight my word choice was poor, but they were old Google accounts I made throughout high school and college and forgot the passwords for, though I had all the other identifying information necessary to access them - I'm pretty sure this isn't something you can exploit for personal gain.
