Lightbulb [GUIDE] Using Discord to stream video (with sound!) for a group

With rabb.it on the way to an early grave (rest in peace!), I've put together a guide for how to watch videos with your friends (or mortal enemies) through Discord.*

*This guide assumes you have already downloaded and signed up for Discord.

Step 1: Add your streaming client of choice to Discord as a game.

A dropdown menu appears. Select your program.

Step 2. Make your audio clearer by toggling input sensitivity.

You're done in this menu for now, so either click the "X" in the top right or press the Escape key.

Step 3: Open a Discord DM and start a video call.

When both (or all) of you have connected, an opaque window appears at the top of your screen that contains the profile pictures of everyone in the call.

Step 4. Click the Screen Share button.

A dropdown menu appears with two options: "Stream [Program Name]" or "Share Screen or Window." You can choose the first option, but the second option is the one that will allow you more control over video quality. Click "Share Screen or Window."

Step 5: Select the program you want to share and your options.

    Step 6: Share!

Happy streaming!
