This is actually super relevant to me rn x)) I listen to hella video game soundtracks when I study. I love playing Hollow Knight so while I wait for Silksong, I listen to Lace while I study/grind hard on essays.
There is also a chiptune version that I enjoy.
Silent Hill 2 has one of my favorite video game soundtracks EVER, specifically this gem:

Excluding the pokemon games, I love the soundtrack for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Most Elder Scrolls and Nintendo soundtracks are also high up on the list for nostalgic factors alone.
