I worked as a call center specialist before...
Customers were usually irate since this was outbound ( we called them and offered services ) as compared to inbound services ( customer service etc )
That being said, have gone through a lot but the biggest pet peeve was when customers would slam the phone while I was still talking
I love hearing other people gripe about being in customer service.
I cannot stand it when a customer sees you speaking to another customer and insists it's an appropriate time to butt in to the conversation to ask the dumbest fucking question or say something whiny. Go ask one of the many free employees Karen, clearly I'm busy assisting someone else. Sorry you can't get your attention fill from me.

Holy fucking balls. I haven't been active on the fourms in a while but this struck a nerve. Just became disabled but worked customer service management for 3 years. People fuckung breathing got on my nerves. There's just no pleasing some people. Fuck.
