I wish I'd known about the kickstarter, I probably would have backed it. I only found out about FR because of the Neopets NFT drama but I've always loved pet sites and dragons so I can't imagine not being instantly interested.

Apparently staff is cracking down hard again for tools that hotlink images to preview skins and the like, but from what I can tell also things like spreadsheets that generate dragon images? This is one of those things where I understand why they do it but it still annoys me. Guess it's good I'm not hyperfocusing and meticulously tracking my dragons anymore.

I didn't look into it closely, I just saw people talking about it on tumblr. I think those would be fine if the images aren't actually loaded externally.

I regret not purchasing the kickstarter familiars in 2013/4 almost as much as I regret not donating to the kickstarter when I saw it getting shared ("I don't care about Dragon Neopets").

I literally missed getting into the KS by a day. After obsessively stalking Neon's DA for like 2 years beforehand, because ooooh cool bright dragons! I got solidly sucked into the black hole of Beast Of Oblivion's art and had some of Neon's stuff come across my dash months later, saw she had something new and realized they'd finally gone ahead with that dragon game they'd been teasing. And I missed it by an actual day. This still somewhat bugs me.
