As Neopets user, where do you lean on the political spectrum?

definitely! even in real life. my thoughts on it are that more left leaning politicians tend to make women's health a somewhat high priority, which most women support.
as for myself, i lean pretty far left.

I'm lefty, always have been, always will be, even as a little kid I was very left leaning. No other political view would even kind of make sense for me to have considering how my life is and how it has been, I had to come to my own conclusions by weighing and researching so my views are really close to my heart.
When I was young I didn't really identify as a religion because the only one we were shown in school was not my thing, then I had a strict atheist phase because they made us do bible studies in school (very odd because it was a secular public school, except on wednesday morning). Nowadays I'm wiccan.
Some other views which kinda make no sense in practice in my life but I do them anyway because that's just how I've always been I want to do what feels right rather than just what is easy, I only buy ethical, sustainable, or second hand these days, and I'm vegan (I was actually already vegetarian the first time I started playing neopets). Kinda goes hand in hand with being wiccan and super lefty, but it's hard because I'm also poor, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

With how far left alot of the propaganda has been, encouraging rioting and looting.... democratic ran cities refusing help from the president to restore order while at the same time blaming the president for whats happening. Calling for defunding of police forces but when citizens use force to protect themselves against the rioters and looters, the "aggressors" then calling for police to help.... its infuriating watching the news. And I wonder how many people have started leaning more right just because of how far left the left are leaning right now.

Has any one changed their views with recent events?

Its embarrassing really. With California on fire with wild fires, and over 100 arson fires lit in Portland its just turned into a huge joke. Instead of working together to solve problems everyone wants to pick sides and point at who they think is the problem. Weird time to be alive.

Absolutely. When I originally responded to this thread I still felt like a pretty left-leaning centrist, but I'm definitely more right-leaning now. I joined the #WalkAway movement and I'm absolutely tired with the complete and utter bullshit of the media. Our biggest threat in the US is not Donald Trump, or white supremacists, or policemen-- it's the MEDIA. It's brainwashing intelligent and educated people to become paranoid little drones and I literally cannot believe how fucking dumb and ignorant people have become because they rely and trust it so much. FACT CHECK! DO YOUR RESEARCH! DO NOT LET THE MEDIA CONTROL YOU AND INFLUENCE YOUR VIEWS! Seriously people-- WAKE UP!!! You are better than this!

I had one of my very liberal friends tell me that I need to pick one cause or issue that is really important to me and put it above all the rest. For her it's saving the environment. I can respect that. For me, it's keeping America from becoming a communist or socialist country. I love my country. I love capitalism. I love the opportunity for growth and change and yes, even rebellion. I love the idea of the American dream and want to protect that and fight for a country that is truly so free. People literally flee their countries to find freedom and the opportunity of a full life in the USA. I think it's such a slap in their face that the majority of my generation is begging for communism right here on US soil. I'll do whatever I can to keep that from happening.

So yeah, I'm a bit more right-leaning now. I've never identified as a Democrat or Republican and have always been listed as 'Independent' on my voter registration. But man, I'd rather be a Republican or Conservative than a Liberal or Leftist in America right now. Hate me all you want but do your fucking research and be aware of bias whenever you read or watch ANYTHING.
