Thoughts? I believe they're going to announce Gen 8 and maybe show some starter designs. Perhaps gameplay? What do you guys think? Are you excited?

I know for a fact there's gonna be a new core series game (I believe they said it was slated for this year, so I'd wager it's probably a November release) so I think we're safe from Kanto Remake 4 for now.

Yeah, that's what they've promised.
But, Pok�mon World is already big enough imo.
They should finally release a full-world MMORPG or something. Before it's too late.

(but, I'll take that Sinnoh Remake someday)

Noooooo! They keep doing Kanto stuff! I would love for them to revisit Sinnoh like you suggested. It would be fun to have the online features of the newer games built into a retelling of Diamond and Pearl. Extra bonus points if they make it free-roaming like they did with Sun and Moon. That would be super cool!

Rofl, no, the Pokemon Company CEO mentioned the next Pokemon game on Switch wasn't going to be "like Pokemon Let's Go" and because that was already the Kanto remake on the Switch, the one coming up will almost certainly be the new generation.

"The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [to Pok�mon Let's Go]," said Tsunekazu Ishihara in an interview with Famitsu. "It is not an entry game, but a game that we want longtime fans of the Pok�mon series to look forward to."

Though, I wouldn't say no to a Johto remake. Gen 2 is my favorite generation after all.

Well, if it's a "completely different game", maybe we are talking about a Pok�mon Ranger or Mystery Dungeon game.
By the way, do you remember this one? It was beautiful and very underrated.
