I've only been keeping up with Neopets passively after I sold my account years ago, is there any documentation on TNT stating there will be an NC mall item that changes your pet into a UC? >__> I'm really curious on the guidelines and if they're actually going to go through with it.
If it's legit a thing do yall think this is going to throw off the costs on site of paint brushes? I'm considering stocking up now on all the paint brushes and converted neopets I need lol.

There is! TNT released a (you need an account to see links) where they briefly discuss them bringing UCs to the NC mall around the 2 minute mark! We are still unsure of how they will go about it (like will it be an item to transform a pet you already own or perhaps we will be able to just directly purchase the pet we want?), the details are still up in the air. Thank you for the info!!I'm assuming they're focusing on extra pet slots as there's a lot less thought process regarding its effects; this whole UC creation will require 1) a differentiation between original UCs and "created" UCs 2) if they will be trade locked 3) overall pricing (especially if they want to do bundles) and guidelines. Hopefully they'll be smart and get both of these released by the Christmas season omg.
Ever since the announcement pb and mp prices have already skyrocketed so you’d be behind the curve if you started stocking up now. Also theyve mentioned that they plan to address the customisation bug where UCs cant be customised in the new system before releasing new UCs (thank god)
