Honestly one of the things I thought about when I took an introductory data science course was applying it to food club, and wondered if any of the big bettors did something like that. He mentions in the interview he'd be happy to share the source code, and I'm curious about it even though I don't actually know data science that well.

It kinda feels like it. This week's editorial replies are really short and without much feelings?

Editorials have been varying levels of rubbish since Droplet's departure

I'm too lazy to make a graph to demonstrate the quality drop but just imagine the line plummeting to "shite", with occasional fluctuations back up to "mediocre but we'll take it" based on CQ/Jade/Scrappy/Aesop's levels of mental alertness that day

Remember the time Jade didn't even make an editorial but rather posted 10 Halloween shopkeeper images with the caption "these are my Halloween feelings"; I'd say that was bottom of the barrel and that was a few years ago

It's also clear they've made the Editorial into more of a "good feelings corner" (even though that used to be a small, yet dedicated FEATURE of the Editorial) to offset the vitriol they're getting from recent site changes. OR perhaps using it in their project management uodate meetings for the higher ups so they can go "Wow, look how many people love us!"

I do find the series reporter thing interesting though. Could be cool!
