And if it fails twice we should change active pets.

But I have no idea. Maybe when I save up 5m np I'll try again.

I can't even count the times I tried it (much more than 3) and never have I ever got leftovers. Sad face.

Make sure your pet is VERY bloated before trying this guys. Just "bloated" is not enough.
If you can't make them eat more food via inventory, you can try to feed them at the Golden Dubloon, or put them in the neolodge, and try feeding your pet at the Movie Central. Some say that the Healing Springs and the Discarded grundo plushie can get you a very bloated pet too.
And just like this guide says, it is very important not to click in the word "leftovers"; you need to open another tab and check your avatar count or look for it in the neoboard preferences list. If you didn't get it refresh a couple of times, and check again your avatar count. If still doesn't show up, change your pet.
Do not attempt more than once with the same pet; look for a lighter one if you failed the first time.

Yup, I tested it on a 39 lbs pet (the lightest I had) Several times with the same pet. On the third consecutive try I got it.
Obviously it is better to do it with a lighter pet.
