How in the world do you live in Alaska.. I can't even handle the cold in Maine .. I am a baby with the cold. Were you born there?
It's basically a fancy sour cream with onions and chives and other delicious shit in it. Toss it on a sandwich, dip your ripple chips, literally top your potato, etc. My personal favorite is dipping Doritos in it.

now that I am in australia though, I would say maybe sausage rolls, meat pies or possibly pavlova/lammingtons? all so iconic haha

ooh basically pavlova is a meringue based cake, with layers of banana and cream, topped with berries
(you need an account to see links)
and lamingtons are like lil squares of sponge cake rolled in chocolate sauce and then rolled again in shredded or desiccated coconut!

they are both pretty classic aussie desserts! pavlova happens to be my personal fave

    Diabetes.

Wait. I mean sweet tea. With diabetes. I live in TN, if there ain't so much sugar in your tea that there's sludge at the bottom, you're not doing it right.
