The decompiled source for the Android game definitely has assets from Tales of Neopia. In fact, the internal names of various code and resources are a mix of some unknown hockey app and Nickelodeon's Tales of Neopia. Very sneaky!

I believe it was confirmed that both this and the upcoming Neopets mobile app are revived projects from the former team. According to (you need an account to see links), the Neopets mobile app is supposed to be pretty impressive - a fairly comprehensive rebuild of the site itself, in mobile form!

I know a lot of people rag on TNT now; but I personally am rather happy with all they have been doing for the site; glitches and all. At least they are trying.

I wasn't planning on checking out either app either, haha.

I know I probably mention this a lot but I wish they'd revive Habitarium as an app game. *cries* I think they lost the coding/deleted it or something?

I'm all for the mobile version of the site if I'll get notifications about training and stuff. It doesn't even need to be the whole site crammed in there but dailies, training, mail, boards, etc. would be nice.

There was a comment from Snarkie's blog (very...interesting) about somebody being worried that Neopets is going to be fully converted to mobile. I doubt that will ever be the case but I'd appreciate more apps from them. I'm not always at my computer to play nor can I really use the computer at work. Can't wait to play Legends and Letters though.

i was today years old when i found out snarkie had a blog lol...

i think in the last few months tnt has been doing a better job with content & listening to users! not perfect of course but it's something at least

i feel like it won't go fully mobile because a chunk of the userbase is elderly and well..learning curve

i do hope they bring customization to mobile though
