Tournament Playoffs will run December 3-December 9.
Tournament Semi-Finals / Finals will run December 10-December 21 or until the final bracket has been completed.

RULES:
+ ***NEW RULE*** This year, the teams will be up to YOU to pick your 6 Pokemon that comply with [GEN 7] OU Rules. You may change your team ONCE during the tournament to improve or drop dead weight. Any additional changes are prohibited, so please build your team wisely. Battle format is 6v6.
PROHIBITED:
-Evasive Moves
-Sleeping Moves

Please Note, I will be checking all battles. If your team changes more THAN ONCE during the tournament, you will be disqualified. (Changing your entire team more than once or more then 1 poke). You may change your team ONCE at some point in the tournament (ie. before the finals / semi finals) but you may not change in between battles with your opponent.

There will be a 'Validate' button at the top of the format team menu to see if your team comply's with [GEN 7] OU.

+ You are to battle your opponent one or three times (you can determine this among whoever you are battling against before beginning your first match) on (you need an account to see links). The losers of the each group's finals will battle to determine the 3rd place participant.

+ You are to play a [GEN 7] OU Battle.

+ On the bottom left corner of the page, there is a button labeled 'Find a User' and this is how you challenge your opponent.

+ Your Pokemon Showdown username needs to resemble your cK username, if not match it. This is because replays of your battle will be required so it will be easier for me to decipher who is who.

+ At the end of a battle and underneath the battle screen, some options come up. In order to get your battle replay, look at the image:


+ All battles must be completed within one week of the round's startup date. Any unplayed battles will require proof that someone continually tried to get their opponent to play, otherwise both players will be eliminated.

PLEASE READ BELOW FOR DETAILS REGARDING THE TOURNY!!!

1) TOURNY HAS BEGUN! Please check Challonge bracket for opponent and PM them for scheduling, username, and time.

2) THERE ARE 4 BY'S: Due to uneven number of challengers (13) in the bracket, we had to add in 4 by's. So this changes things slightly.
If you are a competitor that doesn't have an opponent, you will wait until the 1st set of people in ROUND 1 complete their battles and whoever wins that battle will face off against you in Round 2. If you are in Round 2 with a blank bracket, please wait until Round 2 challenger winners have been decided. If you have a challenger in Round 2 bracket, the winner of Round 1 may go ahead and setup challenge with Round 2 challenger.

3) Games may be played best out of 1, 2, or 3. Please make sure to indicate what you'd like to do with your opponent ahead of time.

4) Please stick replays in this thread here: (you need an account to see links) Please place replays & RESULT of who won in the thread for easy tracking for myself.

5) You may change your team ONCE during the tournament. If your team changes more THAN ONCE during the tournament, you will be disqualified. (That means changing more than 1 poke out more than once during the tournament or per battle per person). 6) Sleep Moves are BANNED. Team must be [GEN 7] OU validated.

7) YOU HAVE 1 WEEK TO COMPLETE ALL PLAY-OFF GAMES (ROUND 1 & 2): December 3-December 9: If you do NOT complete all the games required before the end of Round 1 or 2 or do not communicate with the other player (WITHIN 12 hours of initial contact), you will forfeit your match and the win will go to the other player. SEMI-FINALS / FINALS BEGIN NEXT WEEK 12/10.
