i dont have high hoppes here with it. favorite childhood movie, but they keep butchering jungle book with live action adaptations - theres like 2 netflix ones and a blockbuster one that all were pretty bad

Simba looks absolutely adorable and I can not wait for the release date.
I think the same. Also CGI hiperrealistic animals aren't as expresive and charming as cartoons, in the trailer all the animals have the same ._. faces so I'm not really interested on it. I'll wait until I can watch it for free online to see the comparison.
I'm so keen to go see this as soon as I find the time (and a babysitter).
It's definitely my favourite Disney movie, hope they do it justice.

I always get nervous when they re-do movies like this. Haven't seen it yet, but I grew up with the Lion King series. Hopefully, it is really good for people who have already seen it. (Might go see it, but hesitant and the same time).
I've seen it this weekend and it's a bit of a tossup for me. I liked it. And still cried like a baby when mufasa died.
But it lost some of the power by making it photo realistic, but on the other hand, it also worked.
Im excited for it. I know theres a lot of hate about it, but I think it will be pretty cool. I plan to take my niece and nephews to see it.
I thought about going to see it, but found the soundtrack on youtube first, and for music, I definitely prefer the first one. :/ Maybe I'll rent it in a year.
