Wow......darker than I expected for a pokemon movie

I'm really conflicted about this, being a fan since I was like 6 years old lol.

I'm gonna say it looks like a fun movie, and hope that it's just that

I agree Ryan Reynolds is not the right fit for this role...
honestly the timing is great because all of us who grew up with pokemon would probably appreciate a rated R pokemon movie (pg13 probably would be just fine as well idek how violent or raunchy you have to be to get an R rating these days).. but man.. i feel like it's going to be terrible unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong.

Def more for a grown up audience vs a younger 90's audience. Not a huge fan of Legendary Pictures / WB producing the film or Ryan as Pikachu. It's not in my cup of tea to go see unfortunately.

Yeah, I heard there was a lot of debate going on about Jigglypuff being furry. Personally, I think a balloon Pokemon should be sleeker.

Read the title as Defective Pikachu and was hoping to see a video of Pikachu popping out of his ball and mauling Ash.....

Don't think the movie is gonna be a hit, think its going to go the way of that movie where Mike Meyers played Cat in the Hat. Looking at a pic of Mom that unfolds like a centerfold?!? I still OMG over that.
