I think unfortunately in this scenario we cannot expect Thieves to be bandwagoned for a long time. People usually vote for teams based on boons and Thieves have some of if not the worst group of them, so people will probably refuse to vote/fight for Thieves until it is another "forced" vote, and only because by then Thieves will not have won for a significant amount of time.

Sorry for being Captain Hindsight here but I just now remember I wanted to tell you last week to pick Thieves whenever you can, just in case the guild is wrong
