I was thinking the upset would be Seekers not Thieves due to the bank boon. An opposing guild is something the original one has feared for some time. 6k+ is a lot, even with “help.”

I guess the guild doesn't have that many people battling anymore.. OR other guilds just have people doing 4000 battles again.

Not too sure how to move on from here. Shall we form our own guild and do 4000 battles too

The way I see it, CK is already our own guild, but instead of having our guild page on the official site, it's here. Having an official guild would be cool but I'm sure it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel to take us all out once people started to get suspicious of our guild or some of our members.

Perhaps we could all vote each time and choose a team for Clraik to support rather than choosing the same one as another guild, although I'm not sure exactly how many participants we have here or if we'd be enough to influence the outcome by ourselves but there's always the regular players who have also chosen our chosen team to help maybe.

I agree, I am always forgetting to sign up, even with this thread I don't usually think to check it unless it's on the "Latest Posts" list. This is the first week I remembered in a while and sadly we lost If we did the voting rather than waiting for results of someone else's vote I think that it would subconsciously get us all more involved maybe perhaps?

There could be like a separate thread or something with posts like "Obelisk Week 1 *insert date*" and then it would start with a poll and then after the voting is done and we all sign up, we somehow think of a way to keep the post active so that it stays in people's sight and minds and they'll remember to do it.
Orrr maybe if there was a userbar attached to Obelisk somehow then everyone would participate lol we're all addicted to userbars here.

Although I have no idea if/how any of that would work. I'm just spitballing.

Have been asked to post some stats about obelisk win. There isn't much to show but here it is.
Thieves had 612 players with at least 10 battles and 7096593 points (avg 11595)
Order had 2792 players with at least 10 battles and 27626184 points (avg 9894)
Seekers had 988 players with at least 10 battles and 5473750 points (avg 5540)

Thieves had 667 players and 42245 battles done
Order had 2884 players and 162936 battles done
Seekers had 1028 players and 38530 battles done

Seems like the fact that it takes the average battles won means that the average player that only does 10 battles actually makes the entire faction lose rather than win since it's not by total.

I could just be being paranoid buttttt... now that I know N_T is digging around in the obelisk battledome records and can see individual scores and who got them, I definitely don't want to win a crazy amount now lol. I'll just stay over here in the land of mediocre battledome wins just slightlyyy better than the average but away from the tattletale's prying little eyes.

I think people are just bored with it. It's been going on for like 10 years. They do their required amount of battles to be included in the win if it happens and then forget about it. I'm sure a lot of people have all of the avatars already and only play for boons. Maybe if they changed some of the broken boons or updated them all to be more desirable then maybe people would be more involved and shoot for more battles since winning would be more sought after. Either because the boons are better or just new and people want to see what they do. But we all know that'll unlikely happen anytime soon if ever.

I think in order to win now knowing these stats, we'd have to find out who is the more dedicated team each time rather than who the majority votes for since more people doing less battles each brings down the average. So maybe we should go against the winning choice next time so that there aren't as many people trying to ride the win and bringing down our average? Or I could just not be fully awake yet and rambling. Probably that lol.

I really do think it's a lot safer and easier to just keep going with the guild for ck. Any separate polling/guild group makes it easier for TNT to narrow down our accounts (though, I'm sure we'd still have to be individually reported lol)

If a lurker here notices we'd go Brutes when the guild picked Order, for example, they'd probably ask TNT to look at any high battling accounts for Brutes. Then again, this can really be done now with people pulling these insane numbers haha but at least we're mixed more in with legit players over branching out on our own.

I always forget about the Bad Faith Lurkers. I just wanna believe in the good of our community. Us getting more involved with our own polls would be nice but keeping ourselves safe is more important.

I agree with Buizel, we should keep sticking to the guild's battles.

Even if we keep losing. It's like what someone else said - it's just a bunch of people who wants to cause some trouble. Everyone else in the guild also took the loss despite the sheer amount of battles done.
