One of the socialist utopia Nordic countries. Finland probably? Or Norway?
Go west. Life is peaceful there.
.....
Ok now that that's out of the way, I'd really like to move to somewhere in Europe! Maybe it's just bc I've not experienced it before and I'm stupid for thinking this way, but I really like the idea of seasonal weather! Sure it may be hot now, but blizzards are coming soon!

Honestly, Japan or Switzerland. Have lived in Europe all my life so either upgrade to fancy Swiss or upgrade to chill Japan. I just love the food and the cleanliness there~
I want to live in Japan.
I just need to learn the language, and develop some employable skills they'd want lol. I suppose you can always just apply to teach English there...
I got to visit Japan twice a couple years ago, once for vacation, once for a computer graphics conference. Everyone was super polite to me, though ofc most of the people I interacted with were in shops, or the tourist or animation industry. I once lost my backpack on a bus and the owner of the hostel I was staying at drove me to the office with the lost and found - it was there, wallet in the sidepocket and all.
I loved the convenience stores and being able to get moderately healthy food really easily and quickly, and GOD the public transportation is so convenient. It can get real crowded during the morning/afternoon rushes but you can get across almost the whole country via railway. It's just really nice to walk everywhere you want to go, to have people be generally nicer than you're used to, and be able to eat as much fresh-cooked ramen as you
Going to stop writing bc now I feel... What's the opposite of homesick?
Canada, I always wanted to live there since I was a little kid. Specially Toronto.
Is moving off this planet an option?
Maybe Denmark, Its really pretty there.

canada! i love the scenery and weather, i think it's beautiful. also gotta love the free health care
I think Berlin would be pretty cool. Real city with art and history and diversity of all kinds but not super expensive like most places like that are
I feel like a lot of modern countries are better then the one I'm living in right now. Especially when it comes to religious freedom and LGBTQ+ issues. So I'd be happy to go to any country which is like that (I know a lot of them aren't perfect either - but it's still better).
In the past I had a grand plan to move to Australia. That's where my ex is from. We were pretty serious and I was super invested and researched every aspect about moving there. It fell about when we broke up though.... I wouldn't mind moving to Australia but it's not my main goal or top of the list anymore.
Japan would be a cool pick I'd say. But I know it's not easy to move there, and the place has its own share of problems (though I feel like I prefer dealing with those problems than keep living here tbh).
